You will also get a lot of information about conservation efforts in various areas. It’s important to many fly fishermen to preserve the waters that they fish. Lake Mille Lacs: Anglers enjoyed perfect weather for the opener on the big lake for the first time in years. Lundeen's Tackle Castle and Guide Service reported a strong bite, with nearly everyone catching fish. Walleyes were biting anywhere from six feet all the way down to 30 feet of water.
